Hello! My name is Alysa, and I recently joined the wonderful team here at Companion Animal Hospital.
I made my start working with animals in 2007 and quickly discovered my passion. I have since worked with farm animals, wildlife, reptiles, and everything in between! I am now happily a veterinary assistant, as well as a professional dog trainer that specializes in puppies and behavioral cases. I have a variety of certifications between my jobs, and this hospital is great about giving us new information to learn and grow with. I love educating myself on everything I can to better help man's best friend!
In my spare time… I love kayaking with my husband, hiking with my kids, and spending time with my personal pets. I enjoy cuddling up with my large working breed dogs, as well as keeping them busy with new adventures. I also enjoy helping with rescues and dedicating my time to helping find dogs their forever home.
